I know I’m very bad at congratulations…

I can’t congratulate well on birthdays, speacial holidays and even on the weddings. .. I’m not that type of a person

I always feel guilty for not being able to do so especially to you, my teacher. Because you deserve more than just a congratulation message, a phone call or even a personal visit.

I don’t know what to do at these times, so I simply choose to do nothing or I just do what everybody does.

But today I decided to write this with sincere apology for not being a good student and with my true feelings for you about how good teacher you are all the time!

I saw a lot of people congratulating their teachers with a template for Teachers Day, or they’re sending stickers and emojis. Some people called their teachers and had a long-lasting conversation. Others visited their teachers with gifts(flowers, chocolates, etc.) on their hands.

These were all great ideas on how to celebrate this day, but I couldn’t do any of those things… :(

In the examples above, all those people said good things and made several good wishes for their teachers. Like: I wish you a happy life, a good health… Stay always like this, be always positive… Don’t be tired of teaching young people like us.

All the wishes are good 👍
But in fact they are just wishes. What’s more powerful than wishes? Dua!

You know one of the most sincere and accepted du’a is the Teacher’s du’a to their student and vice-versa: student’s du’a to his/her teacher. (Just like the du’a of a parent to their kids, and kid’s du’a to his or her parents)

When I remember you in my du’as, I always say “O Allah, be rizo (be pleasant) with my teacher. Make her life blessed and let her children be the righteous people as they grow up” and I add one part at the end of my du’a (not always, I don’t want to lie about it, but I make that exact du’a if I remember you in my salah (in my prayers)

  • O my Lord, make her husband amongst the people of paradise and let my teacher and her husband be together in the Heaven in the life of akhiro.

After reading your bio on Telegram, “You are in my heart.I hope I’ll be with you in the PARADISE. InShaAllah”, I decided to write you about that du’a I make for you. Because that’s what I’m capable of doing right now

Happy Teacher’s Day, my teacher!!!

Here’s how she responded:
