🎬 HOOK (first 5–10 seconds)
You need something that slaps people awake:
Option A (direct):
“Shouting at students works… for about 3 minutes. After that, you’ve trained them to ignore you.”
Option B (visual):
Start with a chaotic class clip → cut → calm class
“Same students. Different system.”
Option C (pain):
“If your students only behave when you’re angry, you don’t have discipline. You have fear.”
🔹 Layer 1: Clarity (Most teachers fail here)
Students misbehave because:
👉 they don’t actually know what “good behavior” looks like
Not “be quiet”
But:
- “When I raise my hand → you stop talking in 2 seconds”
- “When working in pairs → voices low, English only”
📌 Show this in your class:
- model behavior
- rehearse it like a drill
Yeah, like training puppies. Except they speak Uzbek
🔹 Layer 2: Consistency (This is where teachers collapse)
You:
- enforce rules on Monday 😤
- ignore on Wednesday 😴
- explode on Friday 🤯
Students learn:
👉 “Let’s gamble. Sometimes he cares, sometimes he doesn’t.”
That’s not discipline. That’s a casino.
🔹 Layer 3: Environment > Personality
Stop thinking:
“I need to be stricter / kinder / louder”
No.
👉 Fix the system, not your mood.
Examples:
- seating arrangement
- lesson pacing (slow = chaos)
- task clarity
Bad system → even angels become demons
Good system → even chaos kids behave
“Punishment doesn’t build discipline. It builds temporary obedience and long-term resistance.”
